Volunteer
Our volunteers help with every aspect of running the farm: planting, harvesting, watering, weeding, and helping out at our free farmers’ markets.’
Volunteers are needed every Saturday morning, rain or shine, from 9 am to noon, and Thursday evenings from either 6-8 pm or 5-7 pm, depending on when the sun sets. The season typically begins in late March / early April and lasts through the beginning of November.
How to Help
We ask that volunteers sign up in advance. Signups are sent through our weekly volunteer emails and can also be accessed on our Facebook page. To join our volunteer list, email kmurphy@salem.com.
No experience is necessary, and we have all of the tools you will need. Gardening gloves are helpful if you have them, but we also have some you can borrow!
